That means a system, a program if you will, that allows you to update the pilothouse console as new development appears The logical solution? Integrated modules-updateable, replaceable, functional. The new RCS modular console systems are custom built and are constructed out of aluminum. They are turn-key systems with custom front flush module mounting of all equipment which are precision manufactured and pre-assembled on our shop floor and delivered to the ship in a kit package. RCS has designed into all of our systems a unique module mounting concept which allows equipment to be front flush mounted for ease of installation, servicing and new equipment updating without crawling around under the console to gain access to the equipment.Custom facia installed over all equipment and secured to the sub-panels is easily removed for both servicing and updating. This malleable facet of the console allows the designer the freedom to choose whatever decorative materials they wish, from powder-coated aluminum and solid surface to fine wood veneers. This system is the way of the pilothouse future in electronic packaging for the yachting industry Our systems Incorporate an Integrated, Module Updating Program for the life of the vessel and many other features.
